I call the Pacific Northwest home, a place whose rain, gray skies, and atmosphere feel naturally suited to the way I see.

My photography doesn’t fit neatly into a single genre. I’m drawn to quiet scenes, negative space, strong forms, and small details that can easily go unnoticed. More than documenting a place or subject, I’m interested in reducing a scene to what feels essential—finding something graphic, atmospheric, or unexpected within the everyday.

I’ve had a camera in my hands for nearly 20 years. Over time, photography has become less about simply making photographs and more about creating work that feels like art made through photography.

In a world filled with images, my goal is simple: to notice something differently, frame it with intention, and create photographs worth spending time with.

I also believe photographs should have a physical presence. They are meant to be printed, held, displayed, and become part of the spaces we live in.
